All Aboard!

I live on an island.  It's doesn't really seem like it because the subway goes under the river and buildings are tall enough that it seems like one giant mass.  Still, it's an island.  That means you can sail around it!  So I did.

Erin turn into a snowman (woman?) shortly after and disappeared inside the boat.  I listened to the tour guide and snapped pictures of pretty skylines.

My favorite NYC building - the Chrysler Building.

Pictures became harder to take as it became darker, but I did snap a few photos of something you might recognize if you've ever attended school, turned on the TV, or glanced at a newspaper.

I've actually visited during the day and gone inside, but I think I like the night view even more since there is nothing else to detract from the photo.  Sorry for the blur, but the iPhone camera isn't exactly professional quality.

I hope to get a new phone later this month, but I'll save that for an exciting post for the future!

Anyway, the harbor cruise was time well-spent.  I only posted a few pictures, but there were hundreds of worthwhile sights.  If only they would let me steer the boat next time...
