I took very few pictures this summer, mainly because I worked so much. It turns out Austin does have plenty of crazy things to take pictures of, but as I expected, taking pictures while driving isn't too safe.
Here are a few worth sharing.
| The famous Kreuz Market is Lockhart, TX. |
| They don't serve this in NYC. |
| The greatest "restaurant" on Earth. Taylor, TX. |
| This is a big rib! |
| But I took it down. The woman on the left was impressed. |
| OK, I was wrong. THIS is a big rib. |
| 2 full pounds! One rib! (No, I didn't finish.) |
OK, so it turns out that the things most worth sharing were pictures of barbecue. I discovered my new favorite barbecue place at Louie Mueller's in Taylor, TX, so that's a pretty big accomplishment. It ranks in my top 5 places to eat for sure.
| I really want to know who buys this product. |
| I've never seen so much beef jerky in one place. |
Bucee's is always a great place to stop if you haven't been before. Who knew a giant convenience store could be a destination itself?
| This was actually in Arcadia, OK. Yes, we bought it. Yes, it's gross. |
Ranch dressing soda was also an option.
