Thailand Part One

Thailand could have its own blog.  In fact, it sort of does.  adamrtw.blogspot.com is a much more exciting blog than this one and includes some great adventures in Thailand.

Still, this was a separate visit so I'll throw in a few pictures here.  I'm not doing as well sticking to my theme these days, but some things are just too interesting not to share.

Lounge in Doha, Qatar.

Qatar airport.

Diet Coke...I hope...

Thailand electricity.  Very safe.

My first meal.  True, Indian, not Thai, but Indian is great here.

Ah, Bangkok.  I missed you.

Dirt cheap bubble tea.

It's Christmas in Bangkok!  (and 95 degrees)

My least favorite yogurt place has invaded Thailand.  Very upsetting.

San Francisco is the theme for the food court level.

Care for some spicy ice cream?  Jalapeno?  Bird chili?

From the 8th floor looking down.

All customers are greeted by sailors, pilots, train conductors, etc.

New and very old.

Largest alcoholic beverage ever served.  Multiple gallons in each glass.

Nice temple they have here.

Very effective guards.

Buddha.

The courtyard of the temple.

Reclining Buddha head.

Reclining Buddha is huge.

That must have taken a long time to build.

Black Buddha?  Why only one?

No shoes allowed.

Fancy roofs here.

Everything here is old.

Even more temple buildings.
