Monster Dog

OK, I just saw the largest domesticated dog in the entire world.  On the subway.  Of all the places to see the largest dog in the world, I saw it on the subway.  I've never even seen a dog on the subway before except for little ones that ride in purses.

I snapped it really quick, so it's a little blurry.  Notice the woman behind the dog.  The dog goes up to her waist.  This dog is nearly three feet tall!  It had to weigh over 100 pounds.

First, how did this dog grow to be so big?  I've seen Great Danes before, but this thing was on steroids.

Second, what was it doing on the subway?  I hope it had a ticket because it was bigger than most children.

This must be his cousin.

I don't think I would want to own a dog bigger than me.  I wouldn't know where to put it and it might eat me in my sleep.
